When you integrate -1/3 . e^-x/3 you get e^-x/3, as shown by the rule photastic stated. This is then multiplied by the -3 that was pulled out at the start to get the -1/3 inside the integral so you get a final answer of -3e^x/3 Last edited: Mar 11, 2016
