2. which field do you think is better in terms of grad jobs, $$$ and job satisfaction?
3. which one would be the toughest course (content/effort wise)?

electrical sounds hectic since i kinda wanna solve the world energy crisis, but meh drems change for $$$

Mech engg deals quite a lot with energy. They're the people who deal with the thermodynamics and stuff, and actually deal with the actual generator which generates the electricity.

Yeah electrical engineering is very broad and to help solve an energy crisis you would want to be proficient in communication with other engineers (you'll communicate with other engineers from electrical, mechanical and materials science mainly). Don't worry though, after a while you'll gain enough experience as an engineer and be able to tackle larger scale problems with others.
