It's like a HSC that is international... that's about all I know!

its basically the new hsc (based on standards and criteria, rather than comparisons with the candidature - as was the case with the old hsc). it also offers some subjects outside the hsc syllabus, such as philosophy. and also, it is an internationally recognised university entrance sort of mark (like and i'national hsc), so hypothetically, u could be accepted to cambridge through doing IB, though i'd say the chances of that would be slim.

You could be accepted at most institutions with a uai, too. High grades are what counts, no matter the educational certificate.
