Has anyone elected to study this course - and - what are you doubling it up with?

Any info would be terrific :)

My friend is doing it.
She's just learning world history right now and chinese.
seems..quite...boring if u ask me..
it's just all history history history

i'm considering picking it up next year -- probably studying chile/spain/france. it'd double with what i'm already doing -- design (viscomm). i'm guessing that person is in 2nd year cos there's no int'l studies content in 1st year...

combine it with law and then you'll have a heaps good degree, well thats what I reckon anyway.

yeah i want to do it next year with enginnering... or law. hopefully france/scandinavia [if they offer it]

i was goign to do it with business!! and do chinese! and go exchange in china! but luckily i didnt! with the SARS outbreak..

do they even offer it with law anymore? at unsw maybe? at usyd it said something about maybe being able to combine it with law, I dont know.

Whats international studies like, cause if i can't do ecotourism i was thinking of taking international studies with tourism management???

Sorry Supa! According to MY 2003 UAC Guide the UAI for
B Science In Information technology, Dip IT Prof Pract B Arts In International Studies UAI Cutoffs are as follows:

2001 - 89.20
2002 - 87.75


BIT sounds good but IMO i reckon the Internetional Studies course sounds soo much more appealing! 1 Year Work Exp. 1 Year Overseas and you can learn a new language while you're at it!! 6 Full Years tho....hmmmm

If i did International Studies with Bachelor of Science in IT...
what country should i go to? like which country is the best for IT?

i know Ireland is an up and coming country with regards to their IT stuff...but i dunno...

:D
