Cause they estimate my UAI to be 96!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's insane.

Nobody has gotten 96 in 15 years at my school.

Are they really as accurate as people say? like 0.5 UAI difference etc .... ????

BTW my highest mark was 93
My lowest mark was 86

I did 5 subjects/10 units.

AND i came second overall at my school in HSC marks. My rankings are really good, 1st in 1 subject second in others.

I was estimating 85!? (in my gut feeling)

Yes they are accurate. Albert estimated mine only .15 away from my actual UAI, Sam was abour 2 off. I didn't use JUAI.

What UAI did you get?

I think SAM/JUAI were about 0.5-2 below my UAI. The difference I think you will find is that the stastics and scaling/moderation they use are usually from previous years so they almost never will be spot on.

einstein was 0.1 off but JUAI was like 1.5 away and SAM was .45 off. But yes sometimes its hard to believe, i could swear that i was going to get max 92 but im soo happy

SAM 0.75 overestimated
JUAI 1.25 overestimated
Einstein 0.30 understimated

I think they're generally very close.

congratz on ur UAI!

Einstein seems to be the most reliable when it comes to estimation.

Einstein was the closest to mine with a 0.05 overestimate. All three calculators were pretty close - nearest 0.2

it must be very close at the top end

JUAI: 99.90
SAM: 99.95
Einstein: went crazy and had an error, dont think it handles high aggregates well

actual UAI: 99.90

yeah, it's cos the top end has like a 3-4 aggregate gap between each 0.05
for lower end stuff, 1 aggregate makes a lot of different - 0.1 even

I've never heard of these UAI estimators till today TBH. Is it only for exam results or for all reuslts during year 12?

the albert UAI calculator is VERY accurate.. i got a UAI of 91.15 and it estimated me to get a UAI of 91.10. It was only .05 off!!

But i enetered my actual hsc scores into it the night before the uai came out.. maybe that why it was accurate.. when i entered results like my trial exam marks it said i'd get a UAI of 75 =/
