Is it possible to score an overall band 6? or high band 5? (88+) ? if you're ranked in the top 25% of your chemistry cohort, with a strong external performance (ie 90+) and strong cohort performance?

school rank fluctuates between 90-100. I'm ranked 10/~42 people in my chemistry cohort and i'm wondering if i score an exceptionally high mark in the hsc ie 90+ and my grade performs well also is it possible to score an overall hsc mark for chemistry in the high band 5/low band 6 range? And also, since i'm ranked 10th and assuming my grade performs well, say i score 90+ in hsc, what mark would that be averaged with to give my overall HSC mark? would it be around the 80s since my rank is low? if you have any idea lol(ie the moderated assessment mark)

depends what the 10 in front of you and the 3 behind you get

I think its possible for you to get a band 6. This website might be able to give you a better idea of your chances http://www.topscores.info/select-nsw.php?req=da-rankings. It can tell you how many people at your school got a band 6 in every subject over the past 4 years.
