hey..i am doing my ISP on Religion and Media! My focus question is..

how does Media influence peoples views of different Religious traditions?

I have got a few sights and stuff, but am having trouble with putting the report together, like what sort of things i should write in it, if that makes any sense..it has to be 1000-1200 words ... HELP PLEASE!!

Moved your request into the main forum as more people will see it. The sub-forums are mainly for those units of work not ISPs!


To your request.

My opinion (take it for what its worth..most dont!!) is that your question may be a little too broad (different religious traditions is a lot...) plus how are you going to evaluate "peoples views"? Add to that the whole 'how does media influence" stuff.

My suggestion is to pick a specific tradition and / or issue and focus on that. A slightly narrower focus for media will be a bit easier for you in the long run IMO as its such a big and broad topic....

May I suggest Islam, they've been in the media a fair bit over the last few months/years.

For some reason when i was contemplating this option for my ISP last year i wanted to focus on a religion that wasnt covered much in the media.

This post reminded me of something...perhaps we should have an ISP sub-forum?

could be a good idea...so long as people look at it to help out....

there is the ISP links thread....
the sub forum would have to stand out/be easily recognised as an ISP help forum which may ease the traffic in the main forum (even though I have been moving requests into the main forum so they can be seen by all- one or two less 'clicks'!)
