hey timothy dalton played a more gritty and realistic james bond

Worst is probably Lazenby - couldn't take him seriously.

and i thought daniel craig was a horrible choice, and then i saw casino royale and was like "i was wrong :( "

edit to appease nicola: but roger moore is better than craig because i lol'd at his jokes ... ... sometimes

suave, middle-aged BRITISH man.
idris elba is British

not to mention that he has demonstrated great aptitude in his acting career and imo could easily pull off a suave, classy, stylish and smooth character such as Bond. Literally the only thing that distinguishes him is his black skin, but one would think that in the vast scheme of things this should be irrelevant

felix leiter is the reason for 'licence to kill', which coincidentally, is one of my favourite bond movies

Did you forget to mention the fact that there was a giant writers unions strike.

So there was NO ONE to actually write the rest of the movie.

I could've waited a year or two longer to get better plots.

And what about the Bond girl's name... Strawberry Fields or something.

what happened to the overly suggestive names like... holly goodhead

which I thought was an interesting name, and then I found out what 'head' was. interesting

1 - Sean Connery
2 - Daniel Craig
3 - Timothy Dalton
4 - Roger Moore
5 - Pierce Brosnan
6 - George Lazenby (OHMSS was an awesome Bond film though)

Overall, i gravitate towards the serious Bonds who are more in line with the original Fleming novels.
I like Sean Connery who wasn't exactly basing his performance on the novels because to me he is the ideal Bond on screen.
Daniel Craig and Timothy Dalton are the gritty and raw Bonds that i like watching a lot as well.
Roger Moore whilst not being close to the novels is still charming and he is too likeable to trash.
I grew up with Pierce Brosnan as Bond and i like him but there is something about him that i can't exactly point out but he wasn't the best Bond in terms of performance. The way he pursed his lips and gave this smug look has a lot to do with it. I still like GoldenEye a lot though.
George Lazenby wasn't horrible but his performance wasn't that convincing mainly because he wasn't an actor, he did good for a model turned actor though and like i said, OHMSS is an awesome Bond film that gets trashed on the basis of Lazenby's performance.

Pierce Brosnan > all the other Bonds. He just fits. Why the fuck was Craig ever cast as Bond, seriously, Bond is not blonde ! He's not that short either, Craig looks like some gym teacher moron

I agree so much with this and I mostly think people around my age like him as bond and think he "fits" because, hey, he was the first bond you ever saw of course he's going to fit in as himself. Duh.

i bet things are dry when you climax
lol
