not really, it's been a few years that it's been most popular, but most of that might be due to the negative stigma attached to ruse with all the competitiveness and asian-ness and all

Not neccessarily. But a new principal who is not as well liked by the teachers could encourage them to leave a little earlier than they might've, you know, and those teachers might just have been the ones who taught their subjects the best, and so the students don't learn as much or as well.

Not implying anything, of course...

Ruse has a crappy location far far away. Probably would've made it in in Yr6 but takes me like 2hr+ to get there.

I wouldn't mind going to Ruse, but it definitely wouldn't be at the top of my list. For me it'd be a pain going to Ruse seeing as it'd take 1.5 - 2 Hours to get to school (I live in the East), and there's no way i'm doing that.

If i lived towards the hills district/ westie areas, without a doubt i'd go to Baulko (I go to High btw, it was my 1st Preference), and rejecting an offer for Ruse isn't necessarily a stupid decision. Maybe it is if you go to Hurlstone or some shit (another agricultural high), but generally, the people who get would be smart enough to make a smart decision. I doubt they'd refuse without a legitimate reason.

And to those who say you'll be a retard for applying and rejecting for fun, how is it? The knowledge that you got into JRHS should be for your own satisfaction. If you're a tool and you go aroud boasting about it, then someone needs to set you straight
But if some other Ruse kid gets all cocky you just shove your rejection letter up their arse.
