Make sure that ur yr 9 yearly and yr 10 half yearly reports are good. That means being well rounded in all of your subjects. It is also preferable if u have good teacher comments so try to participate in class as much as u can. Try also to participate/do well in as many school-hosted academic competitions as well, such as brain bee and ofc ICAS and AMC. They like to see how u will make their school shine (im certain that every school looks for this)
As for extra curricular activities, as long as u have applied urself in many areas, such as in volunteering, school grade sports, sports outside of school, duke of ed, zone swimming etc, and u have shown continued interest in these activities, that criteria should be taken care of. Try to make ur application look outstanding from the others.
