Bullshit, nobody is "naturally smart". They just study hard.
intelligence is both inherited and something to be worked for, obviously people with inherited intelligence would more likely have a higher capability to learn, thus they get in and accel because theyre pushed by parents/competition

your intelligence can also improve with hard work but itd be far more limited than someone who has natural capability

also, studying is to exam marks, anyone can score high in an exam

How do you think they got into Ruse in the first place?
As someone said already, tutoring colleges as well as their parents who took it seriously. I went tutoring myself but I never took it seriously. It just felt like another day to see my friends for me. If I knew that by taking it seriously I could have attended a better school back then things would be different but hey I was 12 and not an Asian with non-Asian parents.

Yeah using the Asian excuse seems a bit unfair but surely we've all come to know that Asian parents do seem to care significantly more about their child's education compared to other races.

just wonder are all James Ruse students high achievers?
Someone said none of them score lower than 98 ATAR. Is it true?:shy:
Nope. I have a friend who went there a few years back and got a 94 UAI.
