Pretty much this. I'll be sad if Krudd leaves parliament but the leadership spills are doing nothing good except making politics as drama filled as some night sitcom. (This whole battle to the death thing, intense!). Even if he wins leadership, he won't win come Sept 14

What has probably been even more of a circus is the trial by media that has gone on for pretty much her entire leadership. They would NOT shut up when Rudd constantly stated his support for her. How do you expect her to be able to lead if she has people undermining her from every area? I do recognise that she hasn't done a great job of managing her party or the factions, but she was never given a chance.
