I thought it was different to the better ed one… that's a shame.
Nope.

You can tell because the top 100 schools have the 'legit' rankings posted up, and those are significantly different in some cases e.g. Sydney Technical is 15 instead of 23, Hurlstone Agricultural is 34 instead of 26 etc.

Yeah, it's only on Maths/English. My school didn't get many band sixes in those so we are quite low down on that list-we had a lot of arts and humanities band sixes.

Most private lists are generated from Maths and English rates. I think SMH's list is generated from Total Band 6's / Total attempts conducted by students at the school. But isn't it illegal now to produce rankings of schools now?

^I believe it is, and SMH can only publish the top 150.

It's a shame tough for schools like mind that hover 200 that we will no longer be able to compare cohorts with ease.

I was wondering why our school was so low. Our school isn't the best at Math/English, rather, as you stated, at the arts/humanities subjects
