By using the rule:

lim (sin nx / nx) = 1
how can we manipulate limits so that we can get it in the form above?
e.g. evaluate lim (sin3x / 2x) ..

sin3x/2x = (3/2)sin3x/3x
lim (sin3x / 2x) = 3/2

lim (sin3x / 2x) = 3/2

why do u multiply by 3/2 ?
is there a certain procedure when u get this type of question...

When you do these quesitons you want the number in front of the x to be the same on the top and the bottom. So becasue you have sin3x on the top you want 3x on the bottom.

To get this you times by 3/2. Then sin3x/3x just equals 1 so then answer is 3/2
