Can someone please help me with the following questions?

1. Integrate [ x^2 . e^(2x^2) - 1 ] / x

2. Integrate [ 1 / (x+1) ] within the boundaries e^(-1) and 1

2. integral of that is ln(x+1) then u sub the boundaries in,

For Q2 I did what you said and I got:

In(1/e + 1) - In2

but the answer is 1 - In2.

How does In(1/e + 1) = 1?
Or did I do something wrong?

You can use a substitution for the 1st. (eg let u = 2x²)
