we did the independant and the average was mid 60's ... and according to the teacher, it was way harder than cssa (he was going to pinch some cssa questions and write his own till he got the independant and saw how hard it was,so gave us that to scare us)

I haven't seen the 2003 Independent, but there's another thread somewhere about possibly uploading/scanning (or even typing up :p :p) the Ind 2003 trial.

I've got the 2003 trial (hard copy) and one typed up (it's on the IPT forum somewhere, just do a search, it should be the last few pages... page 8 if I recall and under the 'IPT 2003 CSSA trial' thread).

I thought the CSSA was easy, but I've just got to manage my time better in the HSC.

When I do see the Ind, I'll comment, but I'll take your word for it (being difficult/harder than CSSA) :)

CSSA, in my opinion, gave hard trials this year for most of the subjects (especially English/sciences).

Maths was okay though.... except 3U hahah!

:)

That would be most appreciated, thank you :)

But if you can't, then that is equally okay.
I'll ask my teacher if she can get it, because I heard her saying something about the 2003 Independent Trial.

I *should* get it by Wednesday, if not Thursday (assuming she has friends from other schools who can get it to her, to put it into photocopying and distributing them to our IPT class).

My class average was 65%, but its not there fault, they try, our damn teacher is a fucking joke(sorry bout the swearing) but i hate him.
He uses the assesment as a means of blackmaling students.

Other than that IPT is so much fun, not cause its IPT but because i try and enjoy it as much as possible.

That's actually a high average you know rx72c.
Ours was 46 to SUB 50! <50

My teacher is "a joke" (sorry!! but she's really nice though), i don't hate her or anything :)

I enjoy IPT as well... it's tops! :)

I see :)
Well, 75-80% has always been a good target average, however if you have high expectations, then 85-90% (or higher) is what others would expect of you, or what you (not "you you", but others) would want to score within, 90-95% and so on.

I think it must have been really rushed or something, to be able to complete EVERY option, including short answer (Questions 21 to 24 core) and multiple choice.

I had no time left, (bad time management), and I didn't even get to finish my second option (same options as you, TPS and Multimedia systems).

TPS is a mad chapter , i love it so logical, Multimedia is easy but not so logical.

Time management, i finish early cause i spend absolutely no time on multiple choice.

MC should take 15-20 minutes.
They recommend 40 minutes, but 20 minutes should be the maximum.

For Questions 25, 28, I believe they recommend 40 minutes or 1 hour, 10 minutes (I can't remember the exact time allocations, sorry).

I just cant see myself spending 40 minutes on multiple choice, 20 minutes sounds fair. Multimedia and TPS dont take too long, its the questions on chap 1-3 that take a long time as they are pretty tricky. TPS and multimedia questions are straight forwad.
