LOST is on tonight and i wont do any study then, either....

but still....well ill tel u what i did with my arvo

one hr i studied lear
fifteen mins i studied transformations (good effort, hey)
and then i slept for an hour as well

good dividing??

now at 6- simpsons are on
6.30 ill be on the computer
7- simpsons again
7.30 - 8.30 dinner and fam time
8.30 LOST is on

9.30 til 11 STUDY

THEN BED
GOODNIGHT AND GOODBYE AND THANKYOU

well all i can say 4 lear is GOOD LUCK!
our school went so shit
we got told the average mark was 4 or 5 out of 20!
havent got it back yet
but that should motivate u
coz i did badly
u should try and do better than me

You need some kind of reward, both short term and long term.

Long term may be if you study now, it will help you get a good UAI, get into your desired uni course, etc etc. Short term may be if you write an essay and do some math's problems you get to watch Lost, or something.

If you can't find a reward, you'll never get motivated.

EDIT: That being said, if you don't complete whatever tasks you complete for yourself, make sure you do NOT give yourself the reward anyway, even if it means missing Lost, or that chocolate bar, or whatever, you would be sending negative messages to your brain and spiralling backwards.

i had this same prob last year, same prob now to tell u the truth.

but here is a good start, get out of this thread and oof the net. that will remove distraction and allow you to concerntrate on your work.

use a rewards system. tell urself ur goin to reward urself after a decent amount of work.

ie. its 7.48 so if u work solidly til 8.30 then let urself go watch LOST then get back at it.
