Hi All,

Im trying to make a decision about studying Journalism at Macleay College in 2009. I have read all the posts on here about Macleay and despite most of them being pretty good there were a few negative ones.

Someone said the computers at Macleay are slow and that the uni is too "cheap" to supply paper, this seems pretty bad considering how much it is.

Just wondering if someone could let me know what the facilities and the teaching staff are like, and also, if most graduates end up going on to work in journalism.

Also do you have cameras, video cameras available for students to borrow and create their own stories.

What that person said was true, the PCs are slow and there aren't enough for all of us to use. The paper is also not supplied.

Like I said in my other posts, come and see for yourself. Come and speak to the students there. Macleay is a joke and they haven't won an award in 2 years because it's gone down the toilet.
