no you round down because the question asked how many koalas weigh more than 11.93kg. so there were 36 whole koalas above 11.93 and then you don't consider the .72 because that's not a whole koala if you get what i'm saying. normally, yes you would round up, but in this case you wouldn't because of the question. hope that helps.
Calculate how many would be expected to weigh less than 11.93 kg by using the above reasoning, the answer would be 363. If 36 were more than 11.93 kg, where/what was the missing koala?

They seem to have released the mg's for advanced maths and standard maths prematurely.

The link still works but if you look at https://educationstandards.nsw.edu..../2023/mathematics-advanced-2023-hsc-exam-pack you will see the link has been removed.

Same for the standard maths ones.

They may update them after marking is finished so if you downloaded it before, maybe download again when it goes up again.

Your link has now gone dead.

You may now find an updated version at https://educationstandards.nsw.edu..../2023/mathematics-advanced-2023-hsc-exam-pack

mg back.png
There are also updated versions of the Standard 1 and 2 mgs at https://educationstandards.nsw.edu....standard-2023-hsc-exam-pack++++++++++++++++++ which have likewise re-appeared.

The Extension 1 and 2 mgs are not up yet though.
