Mathematics in B bus/science in it (1 Viewer)

I want to get into the B bus uts degree, but if not that then b bus/science in it would be good.

I have only done advanced 2 unit maths hsc. Is the math in SC in it really difficult, as recommended studies listed for it is 3 unit maths.. Does this depend on the major chosen?

Also what major in the it side would compliment an accounting major in bus.

Why not just do this course (http://www.handbook.uts.edu.au/courses/c10158.html), instead of a double degree?

It definitely depends on the majors you choose. Luckily for you, the Bachelor of Science in IT has no maths at all in it.

Thats good to hear! But, I'm just curious as to why in the course description it says 3 unit maths is recommended?

To be honest i have no idea. I think it's just a general requirement put down for all Science courses, but Bsc IT students and BIT students don't have to do any math subjects.
