Who's pumped for it? I'm certainly not.

Does anybody have any information about what kinds of questions will be in the exam? I've been told this before, but I forgot what they were.

Also, can anybody pass some information about bisecting angles, doing cross multiply etc?

Would be a great help, thanks.

First section: Non-calculator section
Second: Multiple choice questions, >1 answer type questions and questions which require calculations.

Mostly the stuff you'll be tested would be things you've learnt over the last 3-4 years - consumer arithmetic, co-ordinate geometry, simple algebra, area and volume, etc.

Good luck. :)

Just do a bunch of practise questions online. From what I've seen, the maths is pretty much the same every year - they just change the numbers around abit.

Ok mate, this is gonna be hard to explain so go easy on me, for bisecting an angle;

place compass on the point of the angle (ie angle ABC, place it on B)
draw a line around the angle to make it like a sector (blue)
place the compass on the point where the circle crosses the original line
draw a line in the middle of the angle from each point (green from top line, light red from bottom)
use your ruler to draw a line through the x that was made (red)

Hope that helps mate!

No worries mate, I learnt that back in year 7 and when it came up in the trial I had completely forgotten it, I remembered with like 5 mins left.

Make sure you DON'T RUB OUT construction lines.

Good luck to all
