I did FINS1613 last year in sem 2 (with the cheating fiasco) and the finals were pretty easy... If I recall correctly, around like 5 questions were straight from past papers lol.

From my memory almost every fins course has at least one written assignment. If I recall it correctly the only exception is Fins1612.

ASB seems to try to put as many orals as possible into fins major these days, not a great major if you dislike oral presentation.

Sem 2 had nothing but multiple choice. Mid sem was 40% weighting and final was 50%, ALL multiple choice (class participation was 10%).

Both are easy, but it's harder to get a 100 in FINS1612 than FINS1613.
