Im doing a science course at usyd, can i transfer to sci/eng halfway (aeronautical) and do the remaining subjects in summer? Or are they not offered in summer?

shouldnt be a problem, u will need a credit or even distinction average depending on your UAI.
as long as you take math1001, math1002 and maybe physics (phys1001 or something) you should be right. This will get you exempt from engg1802 in semester 2.
other first year aero eng subjects include, engg1801, engg1803, math1003, math1005 and aero1560(or something??).
so the only subjects you will miss in first semester are engg1801 and maybe engg1803. But with the physics exemption from engg1802 you can catch up on engg1803 in 2nd semster anyway.
