Hello

I'm a Marketing student in Adelaide and next week our class is starting the multiplayer mode of Mikes Bikes. Whoever finishes at the end of the term with the highest market share/profits will be deemed the winner and be praised again. I want this to be my group!

I was reading that you guys have already played this software and wondering have you got any good strategies or hints which you could help me with? I dont see this as cheating. When you go into business you fully research the market and try to get a heads up over your competition. This is all we are doing

I ended up with a $100+ shareholdervalue. My advice is to undertake product design and development every year, lower your prime cost as much as possible, spend a lot on advertising and PR, pay your workers well and up training time significantly, repay all debt immediately, never spend more than 1.5million on Branding, make sure your SCU is sorted, download the Help Guide and read it, purchase a MB license, don't rely too much on offline rollovers, read all the in game help.

There is a lot more but meh i can't be bothered.

We got 220 share price.

Go into every market.

Drop Retailer Margins and give heaps of Extra support. (5% margins and about 7mill support will do).

Give heaps in Investor PR - around 6 million is the best.

Repurchase shares.

These are just tricks to improve the shareholder price and have no real world application whatsoever. I.e. you can give 0% margins, 10mill support and you'll still get more distributors than your competitors.

Next class we need to try to break into the 'communist bike market', luck of the draw i think this is the worst market to try to get into.
Any tips on entering into this market?

hey is offline mode a good way to test things out...
like if i do my account in offline.. will i get the same results when playing online?

Well in offline mode you can only get the to know your shv because you play with with bots but when you compete in online mode variables changes as you competeing on various factors if you want to know more DM on my insta. "_nz_neo"
