Hey, I was wondering if anyone has used mineral makeup, and what they think of it...

Also would you say it would be worth the money to buy a new lot of makeup, just so i can use the mineral stuff?

Not all mineral makeup is expensive. I do find it very good. Just dont go with any of the tacky in store promotions.

The best I've ever used is
www.everydayminerals.com

its the cheapest/best one i've used.

mineral makeup is great.
my stepmum bought it for me out of the blue around my year10 formal last year.
of course i thought 'to bad if i get a bad spot or something cause this shit's not gonna cover it!
but i was wrong.
this stuff is great.
and it's so light, fresh and is great for you skin.
i feel's like nothing.
if your thinking bout getting stuff dont hesistate.
i got the true minerals by revlon.which is nearly $40
but i know you can get other stuff that is cheaper and even better!
good luck

MUSQ - australian owned and based in melbourne, you can order online.

i just used a TINY bit (barely anything) and it completely evened out my skintone. it looks and feels like you're not wearing any make-up, like you just have naturally clear skin. which i think is the best look for anyone.

it's $54 for 5 grams.

especially with hot sweaty summer coming up... you'd wanna invest in mineral make-up.

i am looking for cheaper options that are just as good.

'bare minerals' contains bismuth oxychloride as one of its only five ingredients. if this hugely popular brand contains it then i'm extra wary about other mineral make-up brands.

http://musq.com.au/page/musq_ingredients.html

i use the test down the bottom to screen brands.

"Musq does not use bismuth oxychloride found in most mineral brands - it is a cheap filler and colourant that results in a greasy, big pored look and rashes. Classed as a heavy metal, it is a byproduct of lead!"

i looked through everyday minerals ingredients and it doesn't have any of:

bismuth oxychloride, talc, carmine, propylene glycol, a synthetic colour shown by FD&C or D&C followed by a number, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben or Methylparaben, Imid Urea, nylon 12.

so i think i'll try it.

even though it's an american brand. i heard they import the minerals from australia.
