if anyone does plath and hughes i just wanted to ask...
since the hsc can give any extract of the 12 poems what would the best way be to prepare for any type?
would you say go in with techniques and analysis memorised from the poems or have conceptual ideas to prepare when answering??

i know this is entirely different, i'm doing Keats + Campion. But we have loads of poems as well - what i'm doing is memorising my two favourite poems + their scenes as an essay, and generally knowing 3 techniques, analysis and film scenes for the other poems. 12 is a lot - if they give you an extract, i know some people take one or two quotes on the spot from the extract, and then bring in another poem? it's def not as clean, but it's better than not doing it at all
