smashed it!!!!

I really got the speach of well. I did 15 pgs for it!!! :)
8 for blade runner / BNW
7 for Lear
and 15 for Frontline.
Nailed.
My most insightful comment was:

You may find that truth is alot like wool.
Wool? you ask?
It's simple. When truth is put into the Media machine it is alot like proverbial wool in a processing factory. It is cleaned, coloured and softened so as to please the public when it is pulled over our eyes. Truth and wool are very alike!

Sick 1 huh. Howd everyone else go that did truth???
Good luck for the rest of your exams.

I don't get it. How do you write, like, 15 pages? Do you practice writing fast or something? I was writing the whole time and I only managed to get about 7 pages for Frontline, 9 for bnw/br and about 5 or 6 for king lear.
I only wrote about 2 episodes and 2 additional material because I didn't have time to write any more.
And I didn't like the question much. Section 1 had the only good question.

I think I did the best in this, I adressed the audience, I linked it to the presentation and pretty much stuck to the required text form, was able to write 10 pages, detailed references to both my additionals.

Don't fret hon, that's very good.

We all know the 6-page essays with concise content beat out the 15-page essays which blabber on about nothing.

Ah I didn't really include the audience at all.... I spent waaay to much time talkin bout Frontline, but still wrote a bit on Media Watch and Bowling for Columbine. I always talk bout the one ep in Frontline, The Siege. I swear I could write an essay soley on it.

I could write a whole essay about Ted Hughes' "The Shot"... or Lincoln's "Gettysburg Address". Things are good. =}

so what would you say is considered "addressing the audience"? also, what did you take "young writer/directors" to mean? like, what kind of situation did you imagine? i kind of sunk into lecturing them on the responsibility of media towards the end... :S
