Slow news day today, so thought I'd bring up something that most Aussies probably aren't aware of. Today is the date of Montenegro's independence vote where they are deciding whether or not to abolish the union with Serbia and become a seperate country. It is a rather intresting situation and before the polls, opinion was rather split between pro-Independence camps and pro-Unionist (thats the English word right?) camps.
A really good link from the BBC which basically sums up everything really well:

Couple of others:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/1091227.stm (little dated but interesting and still good information)
I have a bit of a gut feeling that the independence vote will win from my experiences there in February/March. However, I was only in Montenegro for a day and a half and in a coastal area that is tradtionally more pro-republican. I will have to find the pciture I took with all the balconies with the new montengro flag on the balconies and doors and fences.
I have a couple of other links, but I am probably the only one who can read Serbian so I will leave them out of the post
