The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. I looked for it in bookshops all over the coast for two years and finally found it when Dymocks ordered it in... I bought the only copy. It's funny and sad at the same time, I love it.

Existential Psychotherapy by Irvin Yalom

It overflows with philosophy, literary excerpts, references to academic psychology and insight into the human condition. The core themes Yalom addresses are Death, Freedom, Isolation, and Meaninglessness. It's one of the few books that I am inclined to read cover-to-cover all over again.

A world atlas published in 1977.
My copy of Girl With a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier with pictures of the Vermeer paintings that are described in the book.
The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke, which I've read so many times I think a couple of the pages are about to fall out.
My Harry Potter books, which I've also read so many times that some of the pages have actually fallen out.
And a picture book called The Very Ordinary Caterpillar.
