WHAT? Instantaneously or...?

Time to consult my textbook :)

Omg I can't believe you did this topic already. We do it in term 3:( (most likely not going to finish)
Lol my teacher said
do the hard sub first , cuz it will eff u up LMAO
so learn it well, we're doing waves now
i kinda learnt it already
and i'v kinda learnt the electricity one in the long holidays

it would be instantaneous , because it's the velocity at 2 seconds

It's slowing down constantly at a rate of 9.8ms-1 every second, so after 2s it loses 19.6ms-1.

It's really gonna suck just doing average. I mean, if the ball has some micro chip in it, it can accelerate 8m/s for a second, then accelerate 6m/s for the second second. Thus the average acceleration is 7. Which is the same as just accelerating 7m/s for two seconds.

:( I hate it when I confuse myself

it's different

for average Acceleration it's

a = v-u/t

in words... acceleration is equal to change in velocity over change in time.

v is final velocity
u is initial velocity

a = 7-8/2 -1

= -1 m/s/s towards somethings.. like north
or u can removes the - and change the direction to positive(+)

= 1m/s/s South

Instantaneous velocity is just like the velocity was 7m/s at 2 secs
and for instantaneous acceleration , you would have to draw a velocity versus time graph and determine the slope by drawing a tangent to the point or derivative in calculus terms.

Lol dw
you'll learn it , i'm making it sound too hard
