gmail is better, i have had virtually no spam, and the storage space is nearing 3gb...i bet anything that ms wouldnt have introduced this if gmail wasnt around....since they are the ones who introduced 1Gb mail storage space when hotmail offered 2mb...

Spam will generally only get to you if you have an obvious email address or whore it around, and spammers won't tend to discriminate between hotmail and gmail, so any lack of spam is probably because you haven't posted your gmail address all over the web.
