weightlifting does help burn fat.nah, weights don't really help in burning fat, unless you're talking about the weight lost when you sweat, which is silly anyway.
just eat less, and do some cardio. once you become skinny, then work out.

blah.............weights are always worthwhile pursuit. Not for muscle gain, but for strength in generali dont think weights is necessarily needed for everything.
stuff like weight loss, fat loss, mainly diet and cardio to lose the fat.
to gain muscle, whether arms or chest or abs, of course weights is required.
