i went to BDO but didn't even know who the darkness were, but after BDO i got their album and now love the band, so i haven't got to see them yet *crosses fingers*

The Darkness Will Not Dawn

The Darkness are officially not coming to Australia again this year although the tour was never officially announced.

The tour was scheduled for early November and venues pencilled in for the first property Darkness tour of Australia following their performance at Big Day Out in January 2004.

"Basically, it is cancelled" Undercover has been told. "They want to have a break and work on their next album".

Speculation of the impending announcement was further fuelled over the weekend when their label Warner Music put up posters in the main cities promoting the album. A tour announcement was expected to follow this week.

"If The Darkness come back, it won't be until after the next album has been recorded" we have been told.

The next Darkness album is not expected until early 2005.
