Since when do we get to choose our music tastes? I can't help it if heavy music is the only music that sounds good to me Obviously i'd choose to like everything if we did get to choose, but thats not how it works.

Woah, I was expecting more ripping on Thrash/Death/Black Metal. I would have thought it would have been it right from the start, rather than on rap.

I really hate power metal, hair metal and Nickelback. Boring shit that is.

That's a double negative, isn't it? Metallica is the greatest metal band of all time. Sure, St. Anger was shite, but Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning are absolute classics.

I'm also curious to know: what exactly do you define as "good" heavy metal (if you say something like Trivium, I may be forced to break your face)?
