I was referring to aligning-

NB. I don't really understand it but the gist is pretty much the top students (by rank) based on school assessments determines who gets the top marks in the end. There's a good guide somewhere on BoS about it.

oh ok, ive heard stories about aligning, stuff like certain courses must have a set amount of ppl get band 6 then 5 and so on...but others have just said its based on raw marks and if its 80-89 its band 5 and 90 above its band 6
