I don't know, really. I think alot of people are worried about overstepping the boundaries of the prescribed syllabus, because Germany's a society study.
Is it viable to overlap with a Modern History study? That's the thing... because in ExtEnglish2 it's encouraged but I think in ExtHist they want you to do your own thing....
you can overlap as long as your specific topic isn't covered within the course. I'm looking at how the nazi's succeeded in "othering" the jews through propoganda; my teacher's a hsc marker, he said it's fine because it doesn't overlap. so I'm definately taking his word for it.
It's really hard to find information though, at least in English.
I really thought they'd publicise the resistance movement more. I mean, wouldn't you be proud of it?
Sashmish - im also doing German resistiance to Hitler/Nazi regime and yeh there's not as much stuff on it than i would have thought. wonder if many others are doing it.
anyway, im finding reserach hard...im having to read through massive books and only little sections are relevant but oh well - too late to change now!
