need advice on 3u (1 Viewer)

hey everyone,
I found the 3u exam to be extremely hard this year and I was just wondering if i fail this exam will it affect my marks or scale me down. Im doing 2/3u maths and ive got 11 units

Depends on how well you go in other subjects. I also have 11 units and completely failed 3u today, but it is my extra unit that doesn't count, well I hope it doesn't count - I still have extension english. I don't know how good you are at 3u, but it wouldn't affect you negatively even if you didn't score as high as you'd like. Although it obviously depends upon your exam mark, it scales well and should be good for your UAI. I don't think I answered your question - sorry.

If u failed or didn't do too well in today's exam, then it'll definately have some negative effect on ur Extension 1 Maths mark. It then depends on if, after the mark is calculated, it is in your top 10 units (including English). So if it is, it'll be counted in the calculation for ur UAI and might ultimately have some unwanted effect.

However, assuming you do better in all your other subjects, and MX1 isn't counted, then your MX1 mark won't count towards anything at all in the end.

I suffered during today's exam too, so MX1 probably won't be counted for me either
