yeah, well as u know the hsc is like in a months time...so i wanna know what is the best way to study for sdd??

note i haven't done anything at all for sdd...i failed hard for the trials as well...


so what is the best way for me to go good in the hsc?? i mean, don't tell me to read the textbook...coz it'll take ages.:(

thats the thing, knowing the theory in great detail wont help as much, i think i mentioned this somewhere else....

i'll be reading over notes/texts and doing past papers, but thats what will/should work for me:) might not for someone else

yeah, thats what i think as well.... c i never have tooked any test seriously this year...and i still go alright.

yeah, but i don't wanna read all of the text book u know, so i wanted to know whats the best way to get the concepts in...so far i downloaded minai's sdd summaries...thats all.:(

note i said, 'past papers'(even you wrote that), not 'hsc past papers'. there are mulititudes of past papers available(past papers = any papers, key word 'any')

yep, no point reading the whole text now. i'm going to read some summaries and some parts of the excel, for sorts(insertion, selection) and going over developer's view of hardware from the text aswell.

Knowing your facts is only gonna get u a good mark in the mutliple choice, but in scenarios and questions, the most commong questions is methods of implementation, development approaches etc...

yep, which you pick up through doing past papers.

for jm: yep, which you pick up through doing trial exams from yester years as well as the 2 sdd hsc exams.:)

Um Strange Suggestion but going through the syllabys point by point and ticking off what you know well worked for me .. i only got 88 though

i was always sceptical about this but i was so desperate with the option topic that i tried it. it really helped in that last section considering i was studying it from scratch the night before.

the independant paper copied word for word one of the algorithm questions from one of the 3u computing papers, so yes its still relevetn.

Can you please specify the precise Ind paper year and question number, together with the 3U paper and question.

I put all the independent papers together and this sort of thing should not happen.

im confused. i remember doing 22.b of 1998 3u computing studies in either a past paper or a previous assesment task and i thought it was 2003 indepednant, but its not.
