Didn't Your trials cover the new format?
question 1-10 Will be Multiple Choice (unknown on the difficulty as we are the experiment year so be prepared for either a line of working or a page for just one mark)
Questions 11-16 will have parts like the old formats but this time out of 15 marks each question, my best bet is that question 15 and 16 will be similar style to old questions 9 and 10

all together a total 100 marks up for grabs

Goodluck tomorrow

You have your HSC tomorrow, and your school has not notified you of having Multiple Choice in the exam?

apparently its MC from q 1-10, then written for 11 to 16.

I dont see why it will be more difficult to get a band 6

It won't be more difficult to get a band 6 as it is the same question styles but it is hard to judge where the cutoff will lie with less marks for the test and also have 10 multiple choice, which can potential lower the difficulty of the exam making the cutoff higher due to 10 easy marks

Well if there are '10 easy marks' in MC, why don't they compensate by making more difficult questions in Q11-16?

Plus, ME1 had 84 marks - and they had no problems with cutoffs.

Just do the best you can!

the multiple choice are not goign to be easy they are just goign to be normal 2 mark questions from the old questions 1-2
