im in yr 11 atm ,, prelim year ><
newayz mind rating my subjects as such?
and tellin me which would scale me up?

- Business Studies
- IPT
- Physics
- 2U-Maths
- EXM-1
- Adv. English
- I.T
* although ,, im thiinking of changing IT to Chemistry ,, since i don't want to take 1 week off school for work experience ! >< *

and nxt , im thinkin about dropping IT / Chemistry

i thought that IPT / IT would scale down or sumin ...
hm ... u rekon i should drop IT / IPT for 3 unit English & Chemistry?

hmm .... wat if i score around band 5's in
Business, IPT, Adv. English, EXM-1, PHysics and 2-unit maths
would i still get a pretty good mark?

you'll need pretty high band 5/preferably 6 for business if ur gunna keep that ... wont be hard to do with a bit of work :p (not that i know)

dude it doesn't matter wot ur subjects scale like, if ur good at them and you enjoy them you'll do well.

just pick what you like, not what will scale up.

if you do badly, then scaling up won't help very much at all.

if you really want 100 then i would probably switch IT like you said... but why do you need 100? And dude, be realistic! Do you really think you can get it?

That just means you'd come first in the whole state.
The subjects that would help boost up your UAI would be like Maths Extension 2, History Extension or English Extension 2. I prefer to think of those subjects as magnifying glass. Too much work would only magnify the low marks but if you can get over most other people, then it would magnify your UAI
