Any Nightwish fans out there?

Interested to hear what you guys think of Anette and the new album.

also, anyone going to see them when they come to Sydney in February?

I'll be seeing them in Sydney.

I've got the songs from their old albums, but because I don't own the album itself I haven't listened to it much. I like the new girl better. She's easier to listen to for longer.

Heck yes!

The new album is aight. I'm hooked on "Wishmaster" atm. There is a set of youtube videos going around which is ripping on Annette for "slaughtering" Nemo and other tracks live. **Shrug**.

Nothing like the old ones. Wishmaster will always be my favourite album (That, and Century Child), but I have to admit that I really loved DPP. Doesn't sound a thing like old Nightwish, but then again, neither did Once. Great album in my opinion, but still love the oldies.

...however, now Nightwish isn't quite as unique anymore. Loved Tarja's voice, but didn't particularly like her. I could get used to Anette, even if Nightwish is a little more mainstream without Tarja.

I am just ecstatic that I get to go and see them live.
...and am also quite jealous that you're going to Iron Maiden, Exphate. enjoy.
