Hey dudes this thread is for everyone out there who has recently realized that they no longer care about year 12 or the HSC! I just recently undertook this mindset, it's pretty good so far, having a lot more fun just doing whatever I want, whenever I want! Classes are more enjoyable- the only reason i'm doing them is because my parents have paid for them and now i just look at everything not for the purpose of memorizing/analyzing it, but instead just simply to learn and find interest within it. freedom, guys. feels damn good.

Believe me everyone goes through their i dont care stage. At one point i was doing the absolute minimum and even less than that. I got a 93.5 so believe me it wont affect you too much unless you start bombing assessments.

I know how you feel......and you know what? Its okay. You don't need an ATAR of 90+ to be a successful, happy individual...you won't be homeless on the street because you get 70, or even a 60 as an ATAR. You are less likely to become filthy rich, but sometimes you're better off living in a small unit barely making ends meet than having all the money in the world...and it doesn't mean you're stupid either, you could just not be interested in school or whatever like myself, hell I know I ain't gonna be cracking my head just so I go to university and get some degree that'll lead to a high-paying job, it's not worth it to me, I want to be in a career that I love despite the shitty pay....and that's okay, as long as you do SOMETHING with your life, as long as you work and enjoy it....

I followed the saem logic....I misseed out on the advanced versian of my course by 0.1 Atar points, not a good feeling

Seriously, don't give up. It'll be worth it in the end.

I just started Year 11 and I no longer care about the HSC; but I'll study smart and do some work because c'est la vie.
E.T.A. : But no offence to anyone.
Edited to added again:
Stopped caring term1, never cared again.
This applies to me

Yeah... good luck with that.

At the very least, it pushes everyone's ATAR up a fraction.
