I go to a high school thats a little different than the average and most of the people at my school are types I wouldn't really consider normal. Thing is, I've found the ones that grow up in the same sort of area tend to have really similar backgrounds (lyk family/childhood experiences), which they find sort of reassuring i guess, so they consider each other pretty normal.

It's a weird hypothesis, but maybe alot of the people in your area tend to follow a general lifestyle, where theres more of the stuff that makes people what youd consider loopy. Actually THIS sounds insane.

Or maybe its all relative. Like One man's normal is another man's mad bitch.

p.s lot of heavy weights on this thread huh?

Normality is relative.

Well, to me, sex is vomit inducing.
Maybe one day I will be okay with it.
For now, I would rather /insert cliche/ swim with sharks.

To an extent normality is relative. But something that goes against the grain to such a great extent (ie. 1 out of 100) people are like that/share that mentality IS ABNORMAL. jee you are not normal. accept that

Okay, I'm not normal.
However, in contemporary western society, it has become a social widespread phenomenon for one to deviate from the mainstream, hence my perceived abnormality is indeed normal in the light of today's society.

:. I am normal.

Being normal is boring, variety is the spice of life.

I'm not retarded, I just get bored, and boredom is my greatest motivator to do crazy things, not improperly balanced genetic make-up or an addiction to drugs, legal or otherwise.

And if you're wondering why this post seems a bit more intellectual then most of my others, I just came home from double chemistry, my mind is in over-drive....
