Hi everyone,

this might sound like a weird/stupid question but i need to get it out of my head. i'll b starting 1st yr in unsw and i want to know whether a lot of people use notetakers during lectures. i am not a fast writer and i dun wanna stand out of the crowd either! thanx for your help!!

From wat i hear ur not supposed 2 record lecturers without their approval, but how will they noe ^^, umm also lectures are recorded by the uni n u can listen 2 them in the library so why bother recordin.....

look you dont need to write fast to take decent notes
(RE: sciency subjets) you can buy a book with notes already in it,
and just write additional notes next to pre printed ones

dont go to all the trouble to record lecs on cassettes, just get a friends notes or something

gaz only certain subjects lectures are recorded onto cassettes and put into mycourse reserves

among them sociology, physiology, and history i believe

You don't have to write down everything a lecturer says.

Usually, you'll be able to download the lecture notes off webct before class, so you can just add points.

wat do ppl at uni mostly use for note taking anywayz, does everyone use looseleaf folders like in senior high or just notepads and bks?

scrap pieces of paper, lecture pads,
binders are kind of rare (more of a thing ppl leave at home and slot stuff into)
