I read in the paper the other day that geneticists have actually discovered 'cheat genes' in certain people who make them more then 2 to 3 times likely to cheat on a partner. Any partner, that is.

I can't agree or disagree with that statement because it depends on the individual.I really don't know whos more likely to cheat.
Personally I wouldn't cheat,because I would hate to be cheated on.
I would end the relationship if I felt it wasn't working out , if I no longer loved them , or liked/had feeling for someone else or for whatever other reason.

well.. personally i wud never cheat.. thus i was going out with my bf for like 2 yrs.. and then this guy came along that i started to like, i couldnt bear the thought of cheating on my bf, so i broke up with him and then the guy and i kinda hooked up..

but i didnt just leave my 2yrs ex bf for this guy, things were getting shit in our rlnship. i kinda see it as if things were going well between us then i wudnt need to be "searching" for alternatives. cuz id be happy with what i got.

I dont agree I think its a bit of a generalisation of you ask me. Im like OZ if I wasnt happy with the relationship then I would end it. I wouldnt want to be cheated on so I wouldnt cheat on anyone either. I know a lot of guys that cheat and no girls that do.. I think its even however.
