I saw on O week Wiki, that the buses on O week are not for free, just wanting to confirm this?

sorry don't really know about that. I'll just be getting my purple travelpass for the week. Pretty cheap, unlimited bus and train ride = $32

buses are prepaid now in the city.
but yes you can buy the prepaid tickets for individual trips.
