Dude. The O-party is 17+. If you're 17 you can goto the O-party at the uni bar. They just won't give you a band which will allow you to purchase alcohol legally. So happy sober time unless someone else buys you drinks for you.

wow that was fun, i havent had that much fun going out for a while!
apparantly tom [dtc] was there early in the night, and uncomfirmed reports of Karen[WW] being visible. Sofay was seen numerous times however as was a few others. I arrived like just before 7 so we started a game of pool, then they kicked us out! cause they needed to armband us, thing was, when they told us we had to go to the end of the line, was like a 10 min wait, so goijng from being inside and one of the few already there, to being at the end of the line- quite gay. So i go to bar and some bloke tells me that the lines gonna get real long, so every time i went to the bar i ordered 3 drinks
saw a shitload of people i knew from school. Saw some others i knew from work. Some random people i knew from uni, like 2nd and 3rd years.
oh and one girl i havent seen for over 12 years! i dunno how the fuck she recognised me cause i am not exactly looking out for people i havent seen for that long in a crowd, and she looks nothing like i remember, and my memory is pretty shit when considering those times so yeah props to her
dawso got smashed and sat down introducing people he knew to other randoms, so err hi dean![whoever you are]
they really shouldnt use an armband system cause its soooo easy to scam, like i didnt cause iam 18 anyways, and i wanted to drink but all the 18yr old designated drivers handed theirs over to the under 18-non drivers so they could have fun.
1/2 hour long wait in line to buy drinks as the night wore on
so yeah really good time, i prolly knew about 60 or more people allready there
incase any1 saw me i was in jeans and a red shirt, hanging around the far pooltable[nearest the speakers] at the begining of the night, and as the night wore on i sorta moved around abit, chances are either you, your friend or someone in your group knew me so yeah nextime say hi

hate to disagree with the above, but the o party was shit.
we got there on 7.30 (yes, ill admit, stupidity on our part) and spent the entirity of happy hour in lines either to get in or waiting to buy drinks.
the band were absolutely terrible.
the bar closed early.

I didn't find to o-party that bad - caught up with a few friends, met some new people, stuff I could have done without a whole party, but still fun enough
Got to agree that the band wasn't that good - got better later on though

I thought O Party was great! 
I have no idea how good the band were - I was well and truly off my face. I do remember dancing like a knob though, so I'm thinking I didn't mind the band that much.
So many hot boys - this year will be great, eye candy wise!
