hey guys need some help working something out in the maths notes for economists.
This is about sigma notation under exercise 1.4
I don't think ill type it all out, so hopefully someone can help me out whose got the notes with them.
It concerns the final part of 1.4 a).

I'm getting 48: 6+-1+-4+1+2+0+10+8+2+6+5+6+8+-1+0
The solution says 49 (so maybe there's some sort of rule)?
Any help asap would be appreciated

The only subject ive done a lot of work for is ecmt 1010. However, if i had to do an exam with the rest of the candidates right now, I wouldnt go very well. I'm still trying to grasp the maths bits. Ahhhhhhh!!! So confusing.

As for the ass-ignment, it doesnt look to difficult. Simple common sense stuff.
I've got an ecop mini-essay due that same week
