That guy wanting UWS Penrith B of Science!?

OH HAY ARI <3333

Hoep you get in :)
Yay you remembered me!!

I'm thinking of changing my preferences though. Is B Science at UTS any good or is it all just crazy hype? I hope the requirements aren't too much for me. I'm so scared that I'm gonna fail uni so I don't even know if I should apply after doing so crap. People say you have two HSCs a year at unI!! Its gonna kill me!!

Fucking hell... Why do people who never post on here feel the need to post their results? I don't want to search through a bunch of random results to find people I actually want to know about. :/

Firstly congrats everyone on finishing and finding out how you went!!

It's all over, except for me that is...

Does anyone know if they can possibly miscalculate the UAI?

Based on the HSC Marks that I got yesterday from the Board of Studies, the scaling statistics for 2007 on the UAC site (http://www.uac.edu.au/pubs/pdf/2007_table_A3.pdf) and alot of complicated Excel graphs, I made my scaled aggregate out to be 449.2, which is meant to be between 99 and 99.50, but I got 98.50.

I calculated the scaled aggregates of alot of my mates as welland they were all where they were meant to be based on this document from UAC: http://www.uac.edu.au/pubs/pdf/2007_table_A8.pdf. For example, my friend got 449.3 as his scaled aggregate and he got 99.05, another got 437.5 as his scaled aggregate and got 98.4, so close to me despite the fact that I was on virtually the same mark as the 99.05 guy.

Any ideas? How did I get 98.50? Should I call the UAC and complain, despite their bureaucratic, inflexible and superior attitude? (FAQ: "Can my UAI be recalculated? No." Wow, UAC must be perfect and never make any mistakes.)

To be honest, I'm quite disappointed just because I thought my marks were pretty good. =( And because my estimate was 99.5, that too. Still, I did no work during the year so that's a plus.

English Advanced - 90/100 - Band 6
English Extension 1 - 46/50 - Band E4
English Extension 2 - 47/50 - Band E4
Mathematics - 90/100 - Band 6
Music 2 - 98/100 - Band 6
Music Extension - 49/50 - Band E4
Latin Continuers - 94/100 - Band 6
Latin Extension - 48/50 - Band E4

Thanks alot and well done again,
Luke Liang.

But since you won't be a doctor and obviously a disappointment to your family, I guess you will want to whinge about it.
Haha ironically, I'm planning to study jazz in the States where they don't care about any marks or anything, so it is true that I'm just whinging for the sake of it. Oh the joys of whinging!

Merry xmas.

Cool.
I'm gonna move to Mecca and be Allah's true final prophet. I don't think my UAI will count but it was just great to take the points away from someone else such as yourself.

I could be just so massively excited that I don't reread lists during celebrations of finally finishing memorising lists!
