This is a type of desk-checking. The editing of the video must be performed by developers who were not involved in the production of the original film [before editing]. The use of people who have not seen this video allows them to take this un-editted video in as new without "Forward Chaining" [they know whats supposed to happen].
This allows the editing to be more efficient and to stay on track with the original storyboard.
